Literature Text

Bryn sets off from the Mansion she begins to walk through the forest, the sun dappling through the trees as they sway in the breeze. Her bag over her shoulder as she walks soft footedly through the well concealed path only known by a certain few, barely making an impression on the pine needles that cover the forest floor, as she reaches the forest edge she smells fresh bread and croissants from the village bakery, that well known morning smell that fills the village streets of Helmsfirth, signalling her arrival.

Once at town her sparkling beautiful eyes were caught by the several stalls of fine wears, it was market day, the town was filled with the excitement and bustle of what was in the bizarre, Bryn was immediately side tracked form her list of groceries, and drawn to the richly colored scarfs embellished with embroidery, shoes of the most elegant fashion, and bangles of both gold and silver all laid out, they seemed way more agreeable to her than the weekly shop, being beckoned by the stall holders she was a willing victim and all to ready to be flattered by them into trying on many bespoke garments.

On her way she also called in to the Bohemian fragrance merchant, who always greeted her with a warm smile, his stall glittering with small glass bottles each holding exquisite jasmine, lavender and frankincense perfumes, he would on seeing Bryn reach under the counter to bring out a small crystal vial with a blue bow tied to the neck, it was filled with a unique perfume especially mixed for her, it had such a delicate, pretty and intoxicating aroma and was worn only by Bryndle, the elderly white bearded merchant was experienced in the art of mixing perfumes, before he retired he was the most respected potion maker in all the land making fragrances for all the fine ladies and gents of the day, but now he would only mix his bespoke perfumes for Bryn as he did for her mother and grandmother before her.

As the time past after an enjoyable morning, Bryn felt hungered and remembered her reason for stopping in town.
"Oh no" she said to herself with a sigh for she had already all forgotten what she came here for, "I need to buy the groceries, we haven't a thing to eat tonight and I promised Ryan I would cook our mothers famous hearty stew for super" she began to read her list and fill her bag with all the needed ingredients plus a jar of peanut butter, it was now midafternoon she stopped by the café to pick up a creamed filled apple turnover to eat on her walk home, but as she reached out with her hand to pick up the turnover, her hand bumped into another's reaching for the same thing giving her a electrical sensation up her arm and into her shoulder, she looked up with a smile and saw a clean shaven athletic looking man in his mid-20's who glanced back and removed his hand and said, "ladies first I insist"  "but there is only one left" she replied. He chuckled and said “I was undecided to what I fancied anyway our chance meeting has instilled in my mind that I really do prefer a chocolate brownie today, I have much to thank you for - for it could have been the worst mistake of all" he burst into laughter.

"I'm Alex" he said "nice to meet you" "B.. B.. Beth” she said with a stutter at first remembering her brothers warning towards the towns people, “nice to meet you too I haven't seen you round town before" she replied, he went on to say that he was in town on a business matter that would be completed soon and that he wasn't staying for long just passing through "always a lone wolf" he said, they got chatting, after a little while Alex asked "care to join me for a cup of coffee to go with you turnover?"

Bryndle looked at her blue lapis lazlui watch that she wore always on her right wrist even though she was not left handed, and answered
"I would love to actually"

First off I have to commend you and my sis for your incredible flow in writing.
You write so that the reader is almost transplated into this wonderful world.
There is a good amount of intrigue going on too. The details are so good, so visual. And she would have to get her favourite; peanut butter xD
Mid afternoon would be two words though. And you may need a few more commas in there, to break up a little, make it easier on the reader. And also i would suggest perhaps putting the chapter in a slightly different format, one that isn't quite so compact, again just to make it easier for the reader. But this a matter of writing style and not of wrong or right, so feel free to do any which way you please. And also I believe there should be a full stop before quotations. But on whole I think you and my sister are doing a great job on writing this story, you both are so talented, it's only a matter of refining as you go.
